Refund, Return & Exchange Policy

Last Updated: August 12, 2026

Thank you for shopping with Ninth Inning Studio.

Because most of our products are made to order specifically for each customer, our return and exchange policy is different from that of a traditional retail store carrying pre-made inventory.

Please review this policy carefully before placing your order.

By placing an order with Ninth Inning Studio, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to this Refund, Return & Exchange Policy.

1. MADE-TO-ORDER PRODUCTS

Most products sold by Ninth Inning Studio are produced specifically after a customer places an order.

Once production begins, materials, printing, manufacturing, cutting, sewing, assembly, and other production costs may already have been incurred.

For this reason, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for made-to-order merchandise unless the product arrives damaged, materially defective, or materially different from what was ordered due to an error by Ninth Inning Studio or our production process.

This does not affect any rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable consumer protection law.

2. CHANGE OF MIND / BUYER'S REMORSE

We do not generally accept returns or issue refunds because a customer:

  • Changes their mind
  • No longer wants the product
  • Decides they do not like the style after receiving it
  • Ordered for an event that has since been canceled or changed
  • Found another product they prefer
  • Expected a different color due to differences in screen display
  • Did not read the product description
  • Did not review the production or shipping estimates before ordering

Because our products are made to order, buyer's remorse is not considered a product defect.

3. WRONG SIZE ORDERED BY CUSTOMER

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing the applicable size chart before ordering.

Sizing may vary between:

  • Manufacturers
  • Shoe styles
  • Garment styles
  • Product types
  • Men's, women's, youth, and unisex sizing

A customer's normal size in another brand does not guarantee the same fit in our products.

If the correct size ordered by the customer was produced and shipped, the item is not considered defective simply because it does not fit as expected.

We generally do not provide free replacements, returns, exchanges, or refunds when the customer selected the wrong size.

4. COURTESY REMAKES

In certain circumstances, Ninth Inning Studio may choose to offer a customer a discounted replacement or courtesy remake when the customer ordered the wrong size or made another ordering error.

Any such offer is made at our sole discretion as a customer-service courtesy and does not create an ongoing obligation to provide replacements in similar situations.

A courtesy remake may require the customer to pay:

  • A remake or restocking fee
  • Shipping charges
  • A portion of the replacement product cost
  • Other reasonable production costs

The amount and terms of any courtesy remake will be communicated to the customer before the replacement order is placed.

Courtesy remake charges are generally non-refundable once production begins.

5. CUSTOM AND PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

Custom and personalized merchandise is created according to information submitted by the customer.

Customers are responsible for verifying:

  • Names
  • Spelling
  • Dates
  • Numbers
  • Player names
  • Team information
  • Monograms
  • Initials
  • Images
  • Logos
  • Artwork
  • Colors requested
  • Other personalization details

If Ninth Inning Studio produces the product according to the information submitted by the customer, the product is not considered defective because the customer later discovers an error in the information they provided.

Custom and personalized products generally cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded after production has begun unless Ninth Inning Studio made the error.

6. CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel an order, contact Ninth Inning Studio as soon as possible after placing the order.

A cancellation request is not automatically approved.

Because production may begin quickly, we cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has been submitted.

If production has already begun, the order may no longer be eligible for cancellation or refund.

An order is considered canceled only after Ninth Inning Studio confirms the cancellation.

7. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If you receive an item that is:

  • Materially damaged
  • Materially defective
  • Incorrect due to our error
  • The wrong product
  • The wrong size compared with the size shown on your order
  • Missing required personalization
  • Printed incorrectly due to a production error

please contact us promptly so we can investigate and correct the problem when appropriate.

8. DAMAGE / DEFECT CLAIM REQUIREMENTS

To evaluate a damaged, defective, or incorrect-item claim, we may require:

  • Your order number
  • A clear description of the problem
  • Clear photographs of the entire product
  • Close-up photographs showing the specific defect
  • Photographs of the size label when the issue involves sizing
  • Photographs of the shipping label
  • Photographs of damaged packaging when applicable
  • Other information reasonably necessary to verify the problem

Please keep the item and all packaging until your claim has been resolved.

Do not discard, alter, wash, wear, repair, customize, or dispose of the item before receiving instructions from us if you are requesting a replacement or refund based upon an alleged defect.

9. REPORTING PROBLEMS

Customers should inspect their merchandise promptly after delivery and contact Ninth Inning Studio as soon as reasonably possible if there is a problem.

We recommend reporting visible damage, defects, or incorrect items within 7 days of confirmed delivery whenever possible.

Claims submitted significantly later may be more difficult to verify, particularly when shipping packaging or other evidence is no longer available.

Nothing in this section eliminates any rights provided by applicable law.

10. NORMAL PRODUCT VARIATIONS

The following may occur as normal characteristics of printed and made-to-order products and are not necessarily considered defects:

  • Minor differences in color
  • Slight differences in print position
  • Minor differences in pattern placement
  • Small variations near seams
  • Minor stitching variations
  • Differences caused by screen or monitor settings
  • Minor manufacturing tolerances
  • Slight differences between digital mockups and the finished product

Product images and mockups are intended to provide a reasonable representation of the final merchandise but are not guarantees of exact color reproduction or exact print positioning.

11. WORN, USED OR ALTERED ITEMS

Except where required by law or where necessary to establish a product defect, we generally cannot accept merchandise that has been:

  • Worn
  • Washed
  • Used
  • Altered
  • Customized after delivery
  • Damaged after delivery
  • Exposed to improper care
  • Modified by the customer or another party

12. RETURN AUTHORIZATION

Do not return merchandise without first contacting Ninth Inning Studio.

A return sent without authorization may not be accepted or eligible for refund.

If we determine that a return is necessary, we will provide instructions regarding where and how the item should be returned.

The return address may differ depending on the product and production facility.

Do not automatically return merchandise to the address appearing on the original shipping label unless we specifically instruct you to do so.

13. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

When a return is approved because Ninth Inning Studio or our production partner made a verified error, we will determine the appropriate return or replacement procedure.

When a discretionary return or courtesy exchange is approved for reasons not caused by Ninth Inning Studio, the customer may be responsible for:

  • Return shipping
  • Replacement shipping
  • Remake costs
  • Other applicable charges

These terms will be communicated before the return or replacement is processed.

14. REPLACEMENTS

When a claim is approved, Ninth Inning Studio may provide a replacement instead of a refund when appropriate.

A replacement may be offered for:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Printing errors
  • Incorrect merchandise
  • Verified damage
  • Missing or incorrect personalization caused by our error

Because replacements may also be made to order, normal production and shipping timeframes may apply.

15. REFUNDS

When a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

After we issue a refund, additional processing time may be required before the funds appear in your account. The timing is controlled by your bank, credit card issuer, or payment provider.

Original shipping charges may not be refundable unless required by law or the refund results from an error attributable to Ninth Inning Studio.

16. REFUND PROCESSING

Customers will be notified when an approved refund has been processed.

If you have received notification that a refund was issued but it has not appeared in your account after a reasonable processing period, please contact your bank or card issuer first.

You may then contact Ninth Inning Studio if additional transaction information is required.

17. SALE AND DISCOUNTED ITEMS

Unless otherwise required by law, made-to-order products purchased during a promotion, sale, or with a discount code remain subject to the same return and exchange restrictions as regularly priced made-to-order products.

A sale or discount does not change whether a product qualifies as damaged, defective, or incorrect.

18. SHIPPING DELAYS

Production and delivery dates are estimates unless an expressly guaranteed shipping service is stated.

Carrier delays, customs delays, severe weather, transportation disruptions, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control do not automatically make an order eligible for a refund.

If a shipment appears lost or substantially delayed, please contact us so we can review the tracking information and determine the appropriate next steps.

19. PACKAGES MARKED DELIVERED

If carrier tracking shows that a package was delivered to the shipping address provided with the order, please first check:

  • All entrances and porches
  • Mailboxes
  • Parcel lockers
  • Household members
  • Neighbors
  • Apartment or condominium offices
  • Mailrooms
  • Other safe delivery locations

Contact us if the package still cannot be located.

A carrier's confirmed delivery scan may be used as evidence that the merchandise was delivered to the address supplied by the customer.

20. INCORRECT CUSTOMER ADDRESS

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

An order is generally not eligible for a refund solely because it was:

  • Delivered to an address incorrectly entered by the customer
  • Returned because the customer's address was incomplete
  • Refused by the recipient
  • Unclaimed
  • Returned because the customer failed to retrieve the shipment

Additional production or shipping charges may apply if the merchandise needs to be resent or remade.

21. PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS

If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact Ninth Inning Studio directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

We want the opportunity to investigate the issue and provide an appropriate resolution where warranted.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, Ninth Inning Studio reserves the right to provide relevant documentation to the payment processor, card network, issuing bank, or other financial institution, including:

  • Order confirmation
  • Product description
  • Size selected
  • Customer-provided personalization
  • Shipping address supplied by the customer
  • Tracking information
  • Delivery confirmation
  • Customer communications
  • Refund or replacement offers
  • Applicable store policies
  • Evidence of production or fulfillment
  • Other information relevant to the transaction

Filing a chargeback does not automatically establish that merchandise was defective, unauthorized, undelivered, or eligible for refund.

Nothing in this policy prevents a customer from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived.

22. POLICY ABUSE

Ninth Inning Studio reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to decline future orders from customers who demonstrate patterns of:

  • Fraudulent claims
  • Repeated unauthorized chargebacks
  • False non-delivery claims
  • Return abuse
  • Misrepresentation regarding received merchandise
  • Other abusive or fraudulent conduct

23. CONTACT US

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us before returning merchandise or initiating a payment dispute.
